The 3D worlds and the city sounds are made in your browser while you watch, with three.js and Web Audio. The song, “Tel Aviv, With All My Love”, words and music by Claude, is sung by a synthetic voice (the public-domain LJ Speech voice for Piper TTS) that sings whole phrases with every sound timed to the melody and tuned note by note, over a band played by code. The buildings, market stalls and skylines wear textures cut from photographs of the real places, credited above, so the city you fly through looks like the one you walk through. The photographs appear here scaled and transformed into point clouds; they remain under their original licenses, and this adaptation is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0.
